Winter Wonderland Delights

If you want something fun to do in the winter, or just something, make sure you go to Hyde Park. They have the unlimited amount of rides, a zipwire that goes right through the park, every different type of food you can imagine and a house of sweets! Great night out in London + free entry.

Had to restrain myself from eating my body weight in sweets! This place was like heaven!!!

Interesting burgers incl, kangaroo, wilderbeast, buffalo :-s

Walked around 3 miles to find Jamies lol but hot chocolate with marshmallows was definitely worth it :-)

Proper Preparation Prevents Piss-Poor Performance

I WAS taking a rest from the 21st-25th but sickness has got in the way of my training this week so only makes sense to bring forward those rest days so I can focus on getting better and hit it hard when im 100% fully recovered. Just planned my workouts for a few weeks, call me obsessive but if its written down im more likely to stick to it!

  • Monday – rest
  • Tuesday – rest
  • Wednesday – rest (sneaked in a 4k run)
  • Thursday – rest
  • Friday – rest/ does ice skating count as cardio?
  • Saturday – back/biceps
  • Sunday – abs/ yoga
  • Monday (xmas eve, 10-4) shoulders
  • Tuesday (xmas, closed) rest
  • Wednesday (boxing day, closed) 5 mile run
  • Thursday (10-4) – legs
  • Friday (10-4) – back/ biceps
  • Saturday – away/ rest
  • Sunday – run

Weeks workout

So its the festive season, with lots of parties and dinners to attend. Must keep training too though! Made a mental plan of what Im doing this week but would like to document it quickly:

  • Monday – Shoulders
  • Tuesday – Swimming
  • Wednesday – Back/ Biceps
  • Thursday – Rest
  • Friday – Abs
  • Saturday – Legs
  • Sunday – Run (7k moor park run)

I’ve also decided to take a much needed rest, training 6 days a week can definitely take its toll mentally and physically, which I know too well as I kinda hurt my knee yesterday. Over training can lead to injuries and we want to avoid these so taking a solid 5 day (21st-25th dec) rest to have fun, eat, drink and relax over the festive season. Hoping to come back with a vengeance and fully recovered.
